Powerhouse Fitness

Founded in 1980, Powerhouse Fitness (now branded as Fitshop) is the longest established fitness equipment supplier in the UK with over 13 stores nationwide and a dedicated customer call centre. With a turnover of over £17,500,000, they came to Exchequer Dynamics with the need to integrate their 9 Adobe Commerce stores with Advanced Exchequer in order to streamline their business process.

Integration has been done via our flagship ‘Exchequer to Adobe Commerce’ API which includes security verification and complex account routing methods for stores including Amazon, eBay and Tesco. It also provides order processing information including ‘free stock’ lookups which could build for assemblies and actual stock availability from multiple warehouse locations.

Along with this the API also includes Third Man verification and automatic flagging orders with security tags and comprehensive notes for security, address, end-user delivery details and stock levels for ease of processing and picking.

On the first day of launching the new order processing system, the daily order run was completed in 1.5 hours as opposed to the previous 3.5 hours.

Future plans include delivery information and predictive stock levels coming from shipping manifest in the Far East, click and collect in stores and livestock levels on tills from web locations as orders are made.
