As you change product information such as stock levels, pricing, discounts, customers and more in Advanced Exchequer – these changes will automatically be transferred to your online shop. When a new customer registers on the website and successfully makes a payment their details will be transferred into Advanced Exchequer each with their own unique account code. Orders taken will also be transferred to the Advanced Exchequer sales order daybook reflecting their account status and all relevant discounts.

Unlike any other product, it is a fully functional task managed scheduler that executes task threads to process data at lightning speeds. Tests have shown that 200 orders can be input into Advanced Exchequer in 15 seconds.
There are no text files or XML or temporary documents to worry about. As long as there is a network connection between the web server and data server the system works. When connectivity is lost the orders are queued up on the webserver and are downloaded on the next polling.

Ex-Commerce: Ocean is comprised of two main components. A data transfer engine and a web system. The data transfer engine sits on a server on the customer’s network alongside Advanced Exchequer and runs import/export routines on a timed schedule. The web system sits on a dedicated fully hosted and supported web server and manages the ordering process.
Ex-Commerce: Ocean has a fully functional task managed scheduler that executes the different tasks in a multi-thread mode to process data at lightning speeds. Tests have shown that many hundreds of orders can be input into Advanced Exchequer in seconds.
There are none of the traditional and unreliable text files, CSV, XML, temporary documents or emails because the data transfer is direct from Advanced Exchequer’s database to the web system’s database via the Ex-Commerce: Ocean data transfer engine. In other words database to database. If and when connectivity is lost due to general internet fluctuations or outages, data transfers and orders are queued up on the webserver and are downloaded on the next polling.
Ex-Commerce: Ocean will work with either the Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle MySQL out of the box. It requires a COM toolkit licence and for the Pervasive edition of Advanced Exchequer, it requires an ODBC licence. If not already supplied these can be purchased through Advanced Business Solutions. Additionally, it can also be customised to write to any other database system.
