ExSync can be installed on a server or workstation, only one instance should be run against the same SQL database. However the application can have multiple instances running reading from one or many Pervasive databases and writing to different MS SQL/MySQL servers.
If you have ExSync: Service Edition, you will have to perform some extra steps but essentially the installation is the same. Please refer to the this guide first if you have the Service Edition.
Ideal minimum requirements are dual core processors with a minimum of 4 GB RAM to get the best performance out of the multi threading. 64 bit Windows 7 or Server 2008 provide the best performance.
Quad Core processors give the greatest performance. The more cores and memory the faster and better performance.
