From ExSync version 3, ExSync can use up to 4GB of memory on Windows 64bit in addition to any memory allocated to the operating system and other applications.
Ideally, a Windows 7 workstation should have 8-12GB of memory minimum and for Windows Server 08, 8-12GB is recommended. For Windows Small Business Server 2008 and 2011, 8-16GB of memory should be used.

ExSync will work on a 32bit system with a limitation of 2GB of memory severely limiting the volume of records or transactions that can be processed at one time.
The Pervasive SQL database engine (32bit) can handle up to 3GB SQL requests and this limits the performance of ExSync. If you use the 64bit release of Pervasive SQL (available for Exchequer 6.8 and onwards) the Pervasive database can handle 64bit memory allocation and much larger datasets.
